Mike Steep is a globally recognized expert on disruptive technology and innovation strategy. As the Founding Executive Director of Stanford University's Disruptive Technology Program at the School of Engineering, he has spent his entire career in technology at the intersection of cutting-edge technology development and strategic business transformation.
Mike has held senior executive roles at some of the world's most influential technology companies, including Apple, Microsoft, Xerox PARC, Kodak ENCAD, Lexmark (IBM), and Hewlett Packard. He launched the industry's first digital camera at Apple and served as an operations executive across China, Japan, and Asia.
He is the author of two books: Critical Turning Point, a strategic guide for executives navigating AI and disruptive technology, and First Light of Day, a work of technological realism praised by General Stanley McChrystal, former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell, and former FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler.
Mike holds a BA and an MBA, and also completed the Wharton Multinational Enterprise Program at The University of Pennsylvania. He is a Harvard Business School Odyssey Program alumnus. He has delivered 70+ keynotes across 25+ industries to more than 7,000 executive attendees worldwide.
